Amy's Quiz [31 Aug 2007|02:33pm]
You have 6 close friends. But Tim is your closest friend.

Heidi knows you the best, so have a long chat with this person and you might find out something important about yourself.

Danny is your lucky star. This person will bring luck (usually unexpedetedly).

You are deeply in love with Jared and your feelings are like the song "I Like Big Butts".

You like Beary , but it is not "meant to be"... kind of like the song " How Can I Live Without You".

The song, " Pink Tux to the Prom" says a lot about how you think, while the song, " Satellite" tells how you feel about life in general.

4 is your lucky number, and it's also a good number of people to tell about this test.

Dinner [30 Jul 2007|05:28pm]
Lilly had the milk out. I held out my cup, gesturing that she should pour me some. Instead of pouring my some from the gallon, she poured me some from her own glass. There's something special about that.

Writer's Block: By Any Other Name [17 Jul 2007|05:45pm]
If you could rename yourself in real life, what would you choose, and why?

I never knew there was a writer's block! If I had to rename myself.. I think the name Hazel is special. It's also similar to my name now, Heidi. I think the last name Pekter is cool. Hazel Pekter.

You deserve it. [20 Feb 2007|05:07pm]

"Danny is a fuckup loser" Moma says. "He'll never amount to anything."
She lies back down and continues to offer me heaping helpings of "Linda Martin is jealous of me."
I ask her to put herself in Mrs. Martin's position. She says she would do the same thing if someone tried to take away one of her children. She laughs and states that she's a selfish only child and she can't change it. Like she's proud of it or something.

This upsets me. She could change if she wanted. But she doesn't. She likes it and she doesn't care. This..  is so grand.

I couldn't tell Danny. I can't. I don't want him to feel even more alone in the world. I think a little peice of all of us wants to believe that our parents love us and wants what's best for us. Unconditional love. I want to believe it so much. That I almost do. I guess that's enough.

Does it matter?

A small note on love [05 Feb 2007|11:19pm]
Love is not two people together and happy always.
Love is she's dead because she couldn't bear hurting him as much as she did; while he's crying himself to sleep because he could have kept her alive. And he's clinging for dear life to the shirt she left behind, soaking it in tears, shaking uncontrolably. And she's in his room, crying even worse than him because he never knew how she felt.
